I appreciate your response. Sometimes it gets to a point there where the person suffering in a toxic relationship needs to hear the blunt truth. They’ll probably need to hear it more than once before they take action but it’s part of breaking the spell. Don’t get me wrong, if there was any chance of the relationship being salvaged I’d encourage her to try, but when it’s this bad I believe it’s unsalvageable. She’s in danger of spending years in misery chained to this jerk as she does all the hard work of trying to turn him into a decent human being.
