I didn't say that men with power shouldn't be with women with less power. I'm talking about specific circumstances where men (or women) have direct power over another person, as in they could evict them or have them fired for rejecting their advances. This puts the person on the receiving end in a very uncomfortable position.

If a man is merely trying to protect himself, then find someone else to hit on who is not going to feel coerced by your proposition, whether this is the intention or not. Even better pay a prostitute..

It’s funny that you can reject the authors detailed concerns about losing her home but have no trouble at all assigning benign motives to the landlord and claim to know what his intentions are. Why is that?
