I don’t assume men’s underwear has never been stolen by a predator, my point is that it’s not common whereas it happens to women frequently and is considered a gateway crime. The author has every right to be concerned that her underwear wasn’t returned in these circumstances and advising her not to worry about it because she doesn’t know who stole it or why is meaningless. That’s precisely why she’s worried. She does her laundry late at night in a common area and has every right to know if there’s a predator in her building. My 'genetalizations' are based on statistics about sexual assault. Your efforts to deny a woman’s justifiable concerns for her safety are disturbing and I detect a strong stench of anti-feminism in your views.
