I think it’s really important for you and your husband to demonstrate you’re a team so your daughter doesn’t think she can manipulate you by playing favourites. Sounds like you haven’t talked about how you’re feeling with your husband. I’m sure if he knew he’d make an effort to help you feel included. It might seem like a huge hurtful thing now but you’ll probably barely remember this in a few years.
