I wasn’t referring to the average Joe Blow in Hollywood….What would be the point? I thought it was obvious I was referring to the common practice of famous older men divorcing their wives for much younger women. These men are cultural icons and their actions reflect society’s morals and standards. They are lauded, not shamed, which contradicts your original point.

As for the woman who ‘got what she deserved,’ I don’t believe all women are paragons of virtue who never do the wrong thing. That would be simplistic in the extreme.
