If you knew anything at all about Marxism and socialism you’d know that Marx agreed that capitalism was the highest form of social organisation up to a point in human history. Capitalism and democracy are intrinsically connected. The problem with capitalism is that the rate of profit is always falling and capitalism must keep expanding in order to survive. This means endless wars over natural resources and markets and endless slashing of social spending, endless boom bust cycles coming closer together. Financial speculation on the markets is an attempt to overcome the inherent flaws in the capitalism, creating money from thin air which creates bubbles which eventually have to pop. The financial elite (and wannabes) know this so they become increasingly greedy and corrupt which is where we are now: a system in crisis with Trump as it’s perfect representative. Those who once saw themselves as liberal move further to the right as the writing on the wall becomes clear.

By all means defend your wealth and privilege but don’t kid yourself about what you’re defending.

I gave one anecdote and linked to an article which had multiple credible references to other studies and reports so your comment doesn’t even make sense.

As for your claim that people should suffer the consequences of their actions through their children, well that really speaks for itself. I and many others want people to have equal opportunities in life and we recognise that this is no longer possible under capitalism. The only thing this system can bring is more wars, poverty and destruction. I really don’t care how hard you’ve worked or what you think you’ve achieved because this is so much bigger than you….something which you’ll no double be outraged by because you’re incapable of thinking outside your bubble as you’ve repeatedly shown in your hysterical comments about socialists coming to take your money.
