With more people watching shows on their phones or iPads alone something important has been lost. I think it’s really important to keep making an effort to share TV viewing and especially for kids to experience how fun it is to trade jokes and sarcastic comments in person in front of the TV. My partner and I have very different tastes but when we watch something together it’s much better than watching alone.
